In partnership with our school, the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club SFIAC, and Italian Community Services, we are thrilled to present this unique tour led by our teacher, Mattia Milone.

Ticket Price: $50 per person (includes a complimentary drink)

This tour is OPEN TO ALL, Mattia will talk in English and Italian, so everyone can join and explore the beauty of North Beach.

Istituto Italiano Scuola, together with the Alliance Française de San Francisco and the Goethe Institute, will host an exclusive celebration of Europe Day.
An evening to explore and rejoice in Europe’s rich cultural tapestry, combining elements of language, cinema, and cuisine.

” L’ISOLA DELLE ROSE ” (2021) directed by Sydney Sibilia, based on a true story. In 1968, engineer Giorgio Rosa built an artificial island off the coast of Italy and declared it an independent state. The project attracted the interest of Italian and international authorities, who saw in its creation a threat to the established political order. The film blends elements of comedy, adventure, and drama to tell the story of the dream of creating an ideal place to live without laws and restrictions, offering a reflection on the tensions between utopia and reality.

The film will be screened in Italian with English subtitles. Suitable for all levels of language proficiency.

In partnership with our school, the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club SFIAC, and Italian Community Services, we are thrilled to present this unique tour led by our teacher, Mattia Milone.

Ticket Price: $45 per person (includes a complimentary drink)

This tour is OPEN TO ALL, Mattia will talk in English and Italian, so everyone can join and explore the beauty of North Beach.

Pasta Classes Experience

A package of 3 Pasta online lessons from the easiest recipe to the most complicated. With Chiara and her grandmothers from the project NonnaLive, we will teach you every step to make pasta to perfection.

Get ready to savor the flavors of tradition as we proudly announce the triumphant return of our online cooking classes with our beloved grandmas! Get your aprons on and taste the pasta with us!

A package of three Pasta online lessons from the easiest recipe to the most complicated. With Chiara and her grandmothers from the project NonnaLive, we will teach you every step to make pasta to perfection.

Together we will learn how to make: • PUMPKIN STUFFED GNOCCHI (October)

• QUADRUCCI IN LEEK AND POTATO SOUP (November) • CANNELLONI (December)

The lessons are open to all levels of Italian because, where necessary, there will be an integration of the explanation in English, and they will be as interactive as possible. Each student will receive information materials specially created by NonnaLive via email, such as the Zoom link, recipes, explanations of ingredients, etc. before each lesson.
