Together with Francesca you’ll explore the language of Italian comedy in all its forms: witty barzellette, regional stereotypes, iconic actors like Totò and Alberto Sordi, and even the phenomenon of the cinepanettoni. Through examples, discussion, and interactive activities, you’ll discover how laughter reveals not only linguistic creativity, but also history, society, and everyday life in Italy.

This is not just about listening—it’s about sharing and experimenting. You’ll reflect on key words like ironia and satira, watch unforgettable sketches, and even try your hand at creating your own comic twist in Italian. It’s a chance to practice the language in a relaxed, engaging setting where learning and fun go hand in hand.
